HOW TO GET STARTED AT THE LAB
Contact us for the next steps - We promise it will be simple!
We are accepting members at this time - those brand new to strength and conditioning training, as well as those who have been training and are looking for a new gym to call home.
If you’re in Seattle for business or pleasure and want to drop in for a class, or open gym – drop us a line. We’d love to have you join our community.
FAQ – For those trying to navigate on whether or not The LAB will be a good fit:
I EXERCISE A LOT, with yoga, running, HIIT class, and/or Orange Theory - will that be enough to get started?
Awesome! Your lungs and flexible body will serve you well in our group classes. The LAB will now champion a journey along side you, to get you stronger, more durable, and give you a better understanding of your body, how it moves, and what it means to train and finding joy in the gym.
WHEN ARE THE CLASSES? AND HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GO?
We are open 7 days/week, and we do NOT close during the day Monday thru Friday. We want to be available to help people train throughout the day. We want to provide our members with ample opportunity to train. The more often you can get into the gym, the faster you’ll pick things up, and the more fun you’ll have meeting like minded people in our community. We have found over the years that 3-4 days per week of our appropriately programmed training will also bring meaningful and measurable results to our newest members within their first 30 days.
I AM CURRENTLY INJURED OR AM PRONE TO INJURY, WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST?
While we are able to scale and modify exercises and movements to accommodate a varying degree of fitness levels and physical limitations, The LAB is not an injury rehab program/facility. If you're currently injured or have a recent history of injuries, you'll need to get the green light from your doctor before training with us.
I HAVE 30+ POUNDS TO LOSE, IS The LAB the RIGHT FOR ME?
Absolutely! Some of the stories that have inspired us the most are of our members who have come in and put in the work to lose dozens and dozens of pounds in order to regain their health and vitality. We'd love to take that journey with you!
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? DO I NEED TO BRING ANY SPECIAL EQUIPMENT?
Come dressed to break a sweat. Baggy clothes tend to get in the way. No special equipment needed.
